Two ways to create the QR payload
Paste an existing Digital Link or build one from common trade-item fields. In both modes, the official syntax engine validates the URI before the local QR library renders it.
Reliable defaults
The symbol uses a dark foreground, white background, a four-module margin and medium error correction. Logos and decorative module styling are intentionally excluded because scan reliability is the priority.
Download formats
SVG is useful for scalable artwork workflows. PNG is convenient for documents, previews and testing. Both files are generated on your device and the encoded URI is not uploaded.
Production limitation
Symbol size, contrast, substrate, printing method, placement and production verification must be evaluated for the real application.
Frequently asked questions
Is every URL in a QR code a GS1 Digital Link?
No. ProductPassKit validates the URI and encoded GS1 data before describing the output as a GS1 Digital Link QR payload.
Does a generated image guarantee print quality?
No. Print size, quiet zones, contrast, substrate, process variation and production verification remain separate considerations.
